This course is for the foreigners willing to learn the Finnish language. This intensive course is targeted to achieve basic level proficiency of the Finnish language. The content of the course covers: basic grammar, vocabulary on everyday topics, as well as reading and pronunciation. Five daily study hours with a native Teacher and Finnish speaking environment provide an opportunity for total emersion in the Finnish language. Those who are willing may participate in the National Certificate of Language Proficiency Test. For test information and dates, please click here

This course is free of charge. Länsi-Suomen opisto offers a full-board package priced at 200€/month that includes:
- accommodation in double rooms
- meals on study days: breakfast, lunch, coffee, dinner (NB: there is no dinner on Fridays)
