MEALS AND ACCOMMODATION

Take time for yourself in the college surroundings.

Meals

In the dining hall of West Finland College we serve varied meals and favour Finnish produce.

We also take any special diets into account, and a vegetarian option is available at every meal. As a team we serve you with years of experience – cheerful, friendly and open to new ideas.

Meal times

Breakfast Monday to Friday 8.00–9.00

Lunch Monday to Friday 12.15–13.15

Our dining hall is not open at weekends or in the evenings.
The college dormitories have their own kitchens with good facilities for preparing food.

Accommodation

Our college campus is a pleasant and natural setting. The services of the town of Huittinen are easily within your reach.

There are four accommodation buildings on the West Finland College grounds, with single and twin rooms.
The dormitories also have well-equipped kitchens and lounge areas.

West Finland College is surrounded by a beautiful garden and good opportunities for outdoor activities.
On the college grounds, by the river Loimijoki, the sauna is also heated for students once a week.

MAJOITUSTILAT

TOIVOLA

Completed in 1935, upper floor renovated in 2011–2014. Shared showers and toilet in the corridor.

Ground floor renovated in 2023. The rooms have their own shower and toilet.

PÄIVÄNPAISTE

An accommodation building completed in the 1960s and renovated in 2008.
Shared showers and toilet in the corridor.

PAIDEIA

Completed in 1998, renovated in 2013.
All rooms have their own toilet and shower.

LOIMA
(Suomen Kuntolat Oy)

An accommodation building completed in 1989 and renovated in 2014-2015.
All rooms have their own toilet and shower.

Accommodation prices for students

The price of accommodation depends on the number of people staying in the room and on the room’s facilities.

There are four different dormitory buildings on the college campus: Loima, Paideia, Toivola and Päivänpaiste.
The rooms are, as a rule, twin rooms. You can stay in a room of your own or share a room with another student.

Toivola
Some of the rooms have their own shower and toilet.

Some of the rooms do not have their own shower or toilet; the bathroom is located in the corridor.
