ASAHI, MINDFULNESS AND BREATHING
4.- 5.10.2025
A warm welcome to spend a relaxed and restorative weekend!
The programme offers gentle movement for both body and mind.
We will do a wide range of Asahi exercises and also explore the new Asahi Flow series. Between the movement exercises we will do a variety of mindfulness and breathing exercises.
TEACHING DAYS AND TIMES
Sat 4 October 2025 10–15
Sun 5 October 2025 10–15
Asahi movements are done slowly and calmly, listening to your own body. Asahi is a safe form of exercise, because when you train slowly, injuries do not happen. The movements are mainly done standing and no special equipment is needed.
Gentle movements help to increase flexibility, balance and the ability to concentrate. Asahi repairs the body and calms the mind. The calm way of moving also relieves stress. Asahi is maintenance for the mind as well.
Asahi movements are relaxing, they build muscle strength gently, and they improve balance, coordination and the ability to concentrate.
New! Asahi Flow!
Asahi Flow is a single continuous movement exercise built on the three basic Asahi series, and the way it is performed resembles tai chi a little. The movements are done as one flowing whole, a kind of movement meditation.
The weekend is perfect for those who practise asahi, for instructors, and for anyone getting to know asahi, mindfulness and breathing exercises for the first time.
The teacher is Maarit Lintukorpi, head trainer at Asahi Nordic, who
is also a mindfulness trainer and breathing coach.
Asahi Nordic carries the Finnish Key Flag symbol. Read more: www.asahinordic.com
