TEACHING DAYS AND TIMES

Teaching takes place Mon-Fri, provisional schedule:

Mon 9–16.30 

Tue 9–16.30 

Wed 9–16.30

Thu 9–14.45

Fri 9–12.15​

This intensive week is full of foxtrot music of different tempos and styles, and its variations. That family of dance rhythms also covers numerous wonderful dance styles, among them foksi, fusku, slow foxtrot and quickstep – and, with a little variation, many more, especially the very best of them all: simply dancing by feel. 

So the week is spent analysing music, developing our shared feel-led dancing and getting to grips with the basics of the dance styles.

Course teachers: Liisa Kontturi-Paasikko, Elisa Ahonen, Anniina Koivuniemi and Lasse Paasikko (music) and Niina Fili (body conditioning)

 

MEALS

Breakfast is served in the college dining hall at 8–9 and lunch at 12.15–13.15.

 

PRICE

Price: 335 € / participant. In addition to the teaching, the price includes breakfast and lunch on all study days. 

Please note! On most of our courses you can also take part on individual days, but always check this with the course teacher before registering. In that case the price is 80 €/day/participant.

EDIT: Students who have attended the college’s long dance courses can also take part in the Fiilistellen foksien tahdissa course on individual days only.
