at West Finland College!
All upper secondary students, as well as students about to move on to upper secondary education, are welcome at West Finland Summer High School. Our idyllic college campus with its magnificent historic buildings is easy to reach by good transport connections, only 80 km from Tampere, 60 km from Pori and 85 km from Turku.

The college's green surroundings offer the chance to play games, spend time outdoors or simply admire the river view from the riverside terrace.
Within walking distance in the centre of Huittinen you will find shops, a bowling alley, sports pitches and an excellent swimming pool.
On some evenings the teachers lead a relaxed evening programme for everyone.

Agree on any crediting of modules towards your own upper secondary school certificate with the principal or study counsellor of your own school before the summer high school begins..

Accommodation, meals and other programme?
Meals:
Intensive study days are punctuated by tasty meals prepared in the college's own kitchen. We take any special diets into account. For those who choose full board, the price includes breakfast, lunch and dinner in the first week of study from Tue to Sat and in the second week of study from Mon to Fri. There is no organised catering on Sundays. The nearest shop and restaurant services are just under 2 km from the college.
Accommodation:
If you wish, you can stay in one of the four neat accommodation buildings in the college grounds.
Single and twin rooms are available. You are welcome to arrive to stay as early as the previous day. The accommodation facilities have well-equipped kitchens and lounge areas. For those who choose full board, accommodation is included in the price. PLEASE NOTE! Our student dormitories do not have round-the-clock supervision.
After the study days you can unwind by spending time outdoors in the surrounding nature and enjoying the river scenery, or by exploring the college's own library. You can also head into the centre of Huittinen a few kilometres away, where you will find a wide range of services, such as shops, specialist stores and a particularly good swimming pool.
