INTENSIVE TANGO COURSE AT WEST FINLAND COLLEGE

Finnish tango is dear to all of us, both as music and as dance. On this course we hold on to the old but look for new spices to add to it. How could we season our own tango so that it does not lose its essential character?

​

On this course we season the Finnish tango by looking for different ways to interpret the various parts and moods of the music. In addition to dance technique, the tango is spiced with Argentine and English flavours.

Scope: 32 x 45 min

COURSE SCHEDULE

Teaching takes place Monday to Friday between 9.00 and 16.30. A more detailed schedule will be sent to participants before the course.

 

The course is taught by the College's "own teachers": Liisa Kontturi-Paasikko, Elisa Ahonen and Anniina Koivuniemi.

MEALS

Breakfast is served in the college dining hall from 8.00 to 9.00 and lunch from 12.15 to 13.15.

 

PRICE

Price: 330 € / participant. In addition to tuition, the price includes breakfast and lunch on all study days.
