TEACHING DAYS AND TIMES
Classes are held Mon–Fri between 9 and 16.30.
Scope: 34 lessons X 45 min
During this intensive week, every dance class takes as its starting point the music being played and the different rhythms produced by the dancer. We strengthen the basics of rhythm and the structure of the music, and consider how step rhythm, movement rhythm and the body's different rhythms relate to the pulse of the music. These things are explored through the most common dances danced on the dance pavilion floor.
Teachers: Liisa Kontturi-Paasikko, Elisa Ahonen, Lasse Paasikko, and possibly also a visiting teacher (to be confirmed later).
MEALS
On study days, breakfast is served in the college dining hall from 8 to 9 and lunch from 12.15 to 13.15.
PRICE
Price: 335 € / participant. In addition to the teaching, the price includes breakfast and lunch on all study days.
Please note! On most of our courses you can also attend individual days, but always check this with the course teacher before registering. In that case the price is 80 €/day/participant. The schedule and content will be confirmed later.

Stay at West Finland College for the duration of the course
During the course you can stay in the accommodation buildings set in the historic surroundings of the college grounds. Studying at West Finland College gives you space to think and to develop yourself in a safe community. The small, peaceful campus in the middle of Huittinen's nature and services guarantees a successful study experience.
Accommodation in the Toivola dormitory:
Some of the rooms do not have their own shower or toilet; the bathroom is located in the corridor.
