TEACHING DAYS AND TIMES
Teaching takes place Mon-Fri between 9.00 and 16.30.
Scope: 2 x 34 lessons
PERIOD 1: 10–14 March 2025 Closed-hold dances: tango, slow waltz and humppa
PERIOD 2: 17–21 March 2025 Open-hold dances: rumba-bolero, cha cha and fusku
On this two-week intensive course you will get an extra amount of personal feedback on both basic dance skills and dance-specific skills, and the teachers will help you find ways to develop your own partner dance skills.
The teaching days include individual practice, deepening your work with a partner, rhythm training and body maintenance.
You are welcome on the course if you have mastered the basic steps of the dances covered during the course week and if you are motivated to develop your physical and musical abilities and your skills in working with a partner.
You can take part in both periods or choose just one of them.
Course teachers: Liisa Kontturi-Paasikko, Elisa Ahonen, Anniina Koivuniemi and Lasse Paasikko.
MEALS
Breakfast is served in the college dining hall between 8.00 and 9.00 and lunch between 12.15 and 13.15.
PRICE
Price: 550 € / participant (both periods). In addition to tuition, the price includes breakfast and lunch on all study days. If you are taking part in only one period, please indicate this on the registration form (1 or 2). The price is then 335€ / participant.

Stay at West Finland College for the duration of your course
For the duration of the programme you can stay in the accommodation buildings in the college grounds, set in a historic setting. Studying at West Finland College gives you space to think and to develop yourself in a safe community. The peaceful, small campus area amid the nature and services of Huittinen guarantees a successful study experience.
Accommodation in the Toivola dormitory:
Some of the rooms do not have their own shower or toilet; instead, the bathroom is in the corridor.
